if you submit a request when there are no slots, i might still accept it, but i won't contact you until a slot is open
if you submitted a request and don't want a slot anymore (before i've contacted you), just dm me on twitter or re-submit the form saying you want to cancel
the 50% upfront payment is essentially a non-refundable deposit, meaning even if you cancel, once i've accepted your request, there will be no refunds (so please make sure you want to commission before you contact me!!)

if i'm unsure if i can do your idea, i will ask you to elaborate on it
if you don't have a fleshed out idea but still want to commission me, please just put in your request the general concept and i can help you brainstorm or think of something more specific
i will not create a general concept for you (e.g. if you tell me to write "romance" and cannot elaborate i will reject your request for being too vague, but if you put "royalty au" i can help you figure out a more specific idea)
you don't need to give me the entire plot if you don't want, but i require at least a trope or setting to go off of
process
you submit a request via twitter dms
i will contact you to either elaborate on your request if necessary (or simply accept it if you give a specific enough idea already), or reject it
you send 50% of the payment upfront
once i get the payment, it will go into my queue of projects - commissions take precedence over personal work but i can't guarantee what order i'll work on them in, hence the turnaround times being approximate
you have 2 options for how the actual writing process is: i can send you a full rough draft (scene by scene summary) and you can make changes there, or you can let me work on it without your input (and have the final output be a surprise)
either way, when i read 50% of the actual fic completed, i will notify you and this is your final chance to make any major setting or topic changes
when complete, i will contact you and ask if you are okay with it being posted on my ao3, or if you want the document directly
after you send the other 50% of the payment, i'll post it and/or send you the document
NOTE: if you only want the document directly you CANNOT post it on your own ao3 or take credit for it as your own

for the $15 2k+ commissions, a specific word count is not guaranteed. it just means it'll be at least 2k, it could be anywhere between 2k to 100000k! i will write however much i feel like is necessary to fulfill the given prompt/plot.
for word counts higher than 10k, please contact me via twitter dm first to negotiate, because cost can vary wildly depending on the length, content, etc
if i go over the word count, i will not charge you extra (if you REALLY want me to keep it within a certain range, please tell me)
